Boom Phil Spencer opens up and talks frankly about Fanboys

Phil Spencer CEO of Microsoft Software has gone on record saying he thinks fanboy ism is very unhealthy.  He also went into to say, he doesn't get the hate thing towards a rival. After all it's good for the games industry in general. He leant things from playing other games not on the X Box brand.  It pushes the games industry forward into a positive creative way.  He admitted to owning a Wii U and a PS4. Phil says he has a of respect for what Sony has achieved, and has made a lot of friends within Sony, Nintendo and Valve.  He's right with his comments, so am I right to think MS fanboys are just sick in the head ? After all every gamer is different, we like different games.  Different consoles appeal to us for different reasons.  Phil Spencer went on to say there is nothing wrong liking another console.

So fanboys you heard it from the hoarse's mouth now.

Over my many years on this forum, I must have said  "the console war is only fought between fanboys" at least 432,546,185,925 times. In my opinion, there is absolutely nothing more absurd than brand loyalty. I care about the quality of the product. Not who makes it. If you consider yourself a gamer and see you a game like Infamous: Second Son and refuse to play it because Sony, well then my mind has been blown.

Right now I only have an Xbox One. I chose it over a PS4 because it has more games I want to play and it's also where all my friends are at. But once they have some more exclusives that appeal to my taste, I'll definitely be droppin some bucks on that.

Basically he said. I don't give a squat! I get paid I get paid I get paid. Keep up the BS dumbasses we just getting money over here!

To be honest I've never understood fanboys. Seem like a pointless waste of time and you're just denying yourself some good games on different consoles.

Just because you like one thing, doesn't mean you have to dislike the other.

I have no allegiance to any platform, I play on any device that suits my gaming needs.

Previously known as Win7Xbox 360

And starting threads to instill flame wars is dumb.

Why are only MS fanboys sick in the head? Are Sony fanboys not sick in the head also?

[/quote]Funny Phil didn't specify which brand's fanboys, just ANY fanboy.  Whether they are MS, Sony, Nintendo, or whatever.  I love the twisting of words there.

Phil Spencer was relating to MS fanboys, saying he thought it was unhealthy. He also said he has a Wii U and a PS4 and plays on em. No twist of words only by you Sparky!

No he didnt "he doesn't get the hate thing towards a rival. " Boom fool
