Because MS chose to use something else that they believe works best for what they were trying to achieve.

Because Wi-Fi Direct is better.

Peace, J.R.

So they can charge for adapters and require 3rd parties to pay them to make accessories.

Wifi direct can do 250 Mbps at up to 600'

Bluetooth 4.0 can do 25 Mbps at up to 200'

You ask why not have Bluetooth, I ask why?

why doesn't it allow 16-bit cartridges

Don't give the backward compatibility people MORE things to complain about...

@Sevendust and the ps4 only uses 2.1 BT which I believe is 3mb/s

^ And it works just fine, not to mention using them on your android phones using BT and no cables along with an HDMI adapter = HD mobile fone gaming ;)

@f00xm4n I wasn't speaking of the PS4. He asked why the Xbox One doesn't have Bluetooth, so I pointed out that WiFi direct is faster, and further reaching than the best Bluetooth to answer his question.

Yeah, really i meant PS3 pad, clearly I'm giving terrible advice about how NOT 1 sided bluetooth is. I'll enjoy my GTA3 10th anniversary alone.
