BATTERIES

Any suggestions on controller batteries (third party) since MS wont sell theirs seperately anymore?

I have the MS play and charge kit and the quick charger. I am down to 1 battery as the others have died completely.

I do not want to buy another MS charger just to get the battery.

I am trying to stay away from a regular AA battery charger.

Anyone?

I just use the play and charge kit to turn my controller into a wired one, it's still easier to use than the batteries.

I found these on Gamestop's website.

http://www.gamestop.com/xbox-360/accessories/xbox-360-battery-powerpak/78636

http://www.gamestop.com/xbox-360/accessories/xbox-360-rechargeable-battery-pack/40651

http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-Rechargeable-Controller-Battery-Black/dp/B003XVMAC4

I would check on each link on the Amazon page, since some of the prices don't sound right.

the first link you provided as far as i know only works with the nyko charging station, it also comes with 2 of those controller packs. i have to say they are worth the money and seem to have lasted a lot longer than the regular play and charge kits ive used in the past.

it looks like i will most likely go with the nyko's even though the reveiws are mixed.

i will probably grab their charging station too.

i use these batteries with a charger and they work great. they're pretty cheap price wise and they work.

some packs also have AAA batteries and/or the charger depending on where you buy them from. they come with a charge out of the box and after about a day of continuous use, you just swap em out and stick them in the wall charger for  about an hour and a half.

easy to use, and i use them daily. no problems yet.
