Avatar Mrkt & Netflix Exteamly slow load times!

 For about a week and 1/2 now; my dashboard has been loading somewhat slow; Netflix takes several minutes to load dvd covers and load the actual movie,... and then to top it off the Avatar marketplace is almost non-functional.

You can select a game or brand and all the little sqaures will sit and non stop spin with the xbox loading emblem. I have timed it and it has taken over 10 minutes to load one item and then do the preview on my avatar. I spent a lengthy amount of time on the phone with a tech support chick from xbox. But all she had me do was clear my cache 500 times and recover my gamertag.

My internet is FINE. 10 mbps and running at full speed on laptop, phone, etc....

I have an OPEN Nat type and all my online games play just fine (ie Black Ops, Crysis 2)

I'm at a complete loss....i had originally thought it was a Xbox live problem but almost 2 weeks later I'm starting to think its on my end but i have no clue where to start...

Any Sugestions?

Hey mate, did you guys clear the marketplace cache as well? It's a separate process from clearing the cache on your memory device. Step 3 in this guide has details on how to do so.

Hmmm

The "marketplace system data is not there...at all

all thats in that folder is: Optional media update, Rights database, and Video bookmark data

Now that i think of it; I beleive that the xbox support girl did have me delete this...but why hasnt it re-appeared yet?

It's likely because nothing has been put back into that space since it was deleted, then. Okay, so this may very well be a connection issue then. I have noted that you are able to play games online without issue, but let's see if we can't pursue this avenue a bit. When you run a LIVE connection test, what comes up? Please provide as much detail as possible.

it is a WIRED connection

network, internet, xbl all connected just fine

i found a status menu that says:

error status report w: 0000-000B

                                 x: 0000-F001

                                 y:20A8-48E0

                                 z:0000-0000

                                 id: FFFF-FFFF

Um, not quite sure whats taken place here, but I woke up this morning and tried everything out. Good news is everything is loading fast like it should be! Avatar marketplace, Netflix, dashboard...all in working order.

The weird thing is I haven't changed any settings or reconfigured anything.

Have any ideas on what the deal was? Any chance this is a fluke and it could happen again?
