Avatar design

I am brand new to the Xbox 360 world, only just purchasing it yesterday. I have designed an avatar for myself and would like to design one for my wife. I have been unable to determine how to do a second avatar in addition to the one already completed. Can that be done, or am I limited to only one?

I don't know if it matters but....it's an Xbox 360 4GB w/Kinect, two controllers and connected to my TV via an HDMI cable.

Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

Hello and welcome to LIVE.

Avatars are limited to one per account, but you can make another LIVE account for your wife then she can have her own Avatar for that. It does not have to be a gold account you can do it with a free (Silver) one.

Make sure no profiles are signed in then select join xbox LIVE.
This will run you through the process of making an account (and your wife gets her own gamertag (Name).
When it asks what membership you want select free (silver) and upon complation she should get a free month of gold membership as long as you have not made more than 3 accounts on the console...

(Be sure to use a different wlid for the new account as 2 profiles can not share the same E mail address).

Hope this helps and if you have any problems or anymore question post away.

Thank you, that is what I suspected. What I was trying to do was get her name in there as other than "Player 1". When we were playing Golf: Tee It Up, I'm identified by my gamertag, she is simply Player 1.

Thanks again.
