Auto Renewal / Card Removing.

I phoned support this morning to turn off my auto renewal as its my girlfriends card i used, its currently been taken off auto renewal like i asked. Although i still cant delete the credit card from account why is this and when or what can i do to delete from my account ?

The card cannot be removed while you are on a gold membership.  How long is your membership?  Once it's reverted to silver you can call up and remove the card.  Just be aware that if you purchase anything using the card, auto renewal will be turned back on.

It runs out on the 9th of next month thanks for quick reply, so basically when it expires and i go silver i can remove it online ?

Actually, it's best to just call up support and speak with billing to remove it.

The card can be removed. You have to call support first and have auto renew turned off. Then go here:

billing.microsoft.com/home.aspx

This is where you add/remove credit card information.
