Audio issue using Netflix, Lovefilm etc.

Hi, having a problem with the video streaming apps. As soon as a video plays I lose all audio. I get it back by switching to a different input on the tv and back again, but that means the video stops playing and I'm back to the same problem once I try to play something. Oddly enough it doesn't happen with the BBC iplayer. I'm using a toshiba tv with an hdmi cable. Have tried different cables and different hdmi ports and various settings on both tv and Xbox, but still have the same issue. Hope you can help.

Could you turn display discovery back on. Also have you tried resetting the display settings on your console at all ?

No, has been happening since the apps were introduced. It's just gotten to the point where it's annoying enough to try and get help fixing it as I've tried everything I could think of or find on the Internet.

Greetings, Zombies8MyDingo. I have a few clarifying questions that should help us get to the bottom of this. To start, what type of audio/video cable(s) are you using? What model Xbox 360 console are you using (original or S)? Are you receiving any error messages or codes? Thanks in advance! Standing by for your response.

Hi, it's a slim 250GB Xbox with various hdmi cables tried. No error messages or codes.

Audio vanishes as soon as a video is playing, including system sounds etc. Changing channel input on the tv and back again fixes it, but of course the video stops playing and audio vanishes as soon as I restart.
