I've been a loyal Xbox fan , For 3 YEARS and my live was gold for all the 3 years and my tenure still 1 YEAR even after the update and I've done the clear system it's stil 1 year what I have to do leaving the XBOX LIVE , it's *** IM DONE

It's a number that really means nothing in the grand scheme of things. There are no benefits to having it higher or lower. Even still, my best suggestion is to delete your profile from your console before you go to bed, then clear your cache and turn off the console. When you wake up tomorrow, re-download your profile and see if that fixes the issue. If not, let us know and we can go from there.

Have you had Gold for every day for all 3 years?  If you run out of Gold, your tenure stops counting, and then it picks up where you left off when you purchase more Gold.

Apparently there is a glitch on Microsoft's side about tenure.  Please be patient and let the tech monkeys get everything back up and running again :)

That's the same issue with me, If the Tenure picks up right where you left off then I should be a 5 not 4. I created this account in 8/1/2007 and purchased gold on 9/30/2007 ever since ive been a gold member...MY Acct did take a break from Xbox live but it should still be a 5.....the Tenure thing becomes confusing if thats how it operates...it should be based on when the acct was created silver OR gold.....Or instead of even having a number just put a "Member Since" on the gamer card and take away the number.....If Xbox Official support can look at my account and see whats going on with it and give me a detailed breakdown on why I have a 4 then please do so
