Anyway to reset my own gamerscore?

Hello, i'm trying to reset my gamerscore, I said I wasn't going to pass 10,000 gamerscore, but I did, and I think it looks retarded. I was wondering if Microsoft could reset my gamerscore for me, or there's a method to reset my gamerscore, kind of like how you derank yourself on CoD. Thanks.

So, it looks like the only way I can reset my gamerscore is to mod my achievements, since Microsoft won't reset gamerscore when  asked.. for some reason.

Can somebody give me the rundown on the "Cheater" zone?

only you can see your gamerzone when labelled as a cheater, for other people, they see the previous gamerzone you were in. also, when looking at your profile on xbox.com, everyone (yourself included) will see a yellow bar saying that you cheated your gamerscore

~Edit~ also, unlocking achievements for the games you modded will be a little difficult, as in, they re-lock after a while even if unlocked without cheating

Modding methods aren't allowed on the forums. There is no way of manually resetting your Gamerscore, like Duke Sallos said, you will be labelled a 'Cheater' forever if you try to hack your Gamerscore, and all just to get it reset.

What do you mean, they re-lock after awhile? You mean, after I get reset, and unlock a achievement I earned before, it will randomly go away after I earn it?

if you modded an achievement, it will get reset. then if you get it without modding, it will eventually get locked again

Please, can't you just reset my gamerscore? :( Just act like I modded achievements or something, I don't have the money to pay for a modding program, please.

You can't reset a gamerscore. Period. Vibroplex is right. If you want to, you can create a new account. That is your only option.

There is a similar issue on this thread here, which lists why errors might occur with the gamerscore-

forums.xbox.com/.../378795.aspx

I don't think, based on the situation you described, that this completely applies to you, but I'll repost the official Microsoft help on Gamerscore corrections

"About Gamerscore corrections

A gamerscore correction occurs on a player’s LIVE account when they gain achievements through avoiding game play and the use of external tools.  LIVE is committed to keeping the service free of this type of behavior as it violates the LIVE Terms of Use.  When abnormal achievement or gamerscore activity is found, LIVE modifies the gamerscore of players who meet specific and automated criteria.

A LIVE player who obtained their gamerscore in this abnormal way will

Find their gamerscore reset to zero, and

Be unable to regain all previously earned achievements, and

Be labeled as a “cheater” for the community to view (for members over 18 years old).

While players who have been identified by these criteria will start from a zero gamerscore, they will still be able to gain achievements for future games.  In other words, we give them another chance to earn future achievements by earning them as other “fair” players do.  The original gamerscore correction will remain permanent without any way to appeal."
