TriggahoIic,

Unfortunately you can't at the moment. Legacy headsets will not be compatible with Xbox One at launch. The Wireless Controller has been redesigned to allow for higher data transfer speed between the controller and the console. This also required creating a new expansion port design for headsets and future controller add-on devices which is different from a standard audio plug input. An adapter is being developed but will not be available for purchase until early 2014. Hope this helps!

no chat till a adapter is made or you buy the new TBs but you can still get game sound; I have my Tv's opt audio out to my astros and the X1 to the tv by hdmi. headset gets the surround sound from the tv itself instead of the console.
