Advanced replacement - email response?

I completed the advanced replacement for my dead Xboxone and am curious should I have received an order conformation? I find it odd that I fill out a form and give all my info and credit card number to replace a faulty product that MS puts out and I don't even get an email confirming the order and a we are sorry to have sent you a crappy faulty unit. Let us get the taken care of ASAP for you. We value you as a customer and value continued business from you. Anything really would be nice at this point! Come on Microsoft? Unhappy customer that wishes he had more options.

I received 2 mails from Microsoft after a call with support about console replacement

I wait for a mail with a message like this "Your replacement console has been shipped from our facility"

After many calls/chats with MS support, I finally got my XboxOne registered and was able to complete the online replacement form.  Upon submitting the form it returned an error, but shortly after I was able to view the new SR online and received an email confirming the SR and the advanced replacement request.  The email stated that my request was in progress and a replacement would ship out in two business days.  It also detailed the return process.

I put my request in on Friday.  Now I understand it was put through late evening so that means Friday wont be taken into account.  Nor the weekend.  However I did expect some kind of response instead of just a generic "Here is your confirmation".  I also don't like how the website is constructed, what does "Order in Progress" mean?  They really need to change it so I can see what stage my order is at.  Has it been confirmed with the replacement team? Has credit card been accepted? Is my order being packed, has it reached the warehouse? Do they even have a spare console to ship to me? At the moment I feel like I'm just sitting with my thumb up my bum.  

As I didn't get any response, I contacted support yesterday to ask what was going on and if my order had even been seen by someone.  I was told it would be shipped this week. If my console is not shipped by Wednesday I will request they 1. Remove the 2 business day resolution statement or 2. Add a clause to explain to consumers that new release consoles will take longer (which is understandable but they don't state it).  It's annoying because I took a day off work and I've been talking to support since.  My console is meant to be shipped today, based on their website's claim.  But I've not received any confirmation and it's already 1pm in the UK...

I would think that you should have gotten an email.  Check your spam folder.

I received an email just after submitting Friday evening with the subject line:  Xbox service confirmation

I would suggest contacting MS here and asking someone.  support.xbox.com/.../contact-us

I set up an advanced replacement yesterday through the phone and I have 0 e-mails about the whole process, very worrying.  My order just says "Order in progress".

I just chatted with support, they told me that my SR I submitted late Sat was waiting for a transaction number from FedEx . I also asked if it qualified for the free game and was told that I will get an email about it within 3 to 5 days after submitting the request.  My xbox just died after setup, I did not have a chance to check the disk drive.

Super Dave did you chat with support or did you call I chatted with them and they had no real clue as to when I would get the message about the console shipping.

I chatted with Tracey.  Tracey told me  my request was waiting for a fedex transaction number.  I assume this is the return fedex number for my broken xbox.  Once this is received the new console will ship.  I also asked if the  replacement would be a Day one.  She told me it would.

I processed my advance on Saturday.  Its seven days later.  Xbox says they still haven't shipped it.  Can't tell me why, and they don't know when.  They will not be shipping it tomorrow, which is Sunday.  Shipping should take 5-7 business days.  I'm not happy.  My complaining has got me 9 months of free live, Ryse, and Forza 5 though.
