Adding members to 'Gold Family Pack'

I have recently taken the option to have the gold family member account and my profile is successfully shown as 'live'.

However, when i try to add 'family members' it tells me that it is not possible to add them at this time. The member i am trying to add has a 'non updated' gold live subscription already on his profile using my old credit card details (or different to the one i used setting up family account). Would this be the cause of the failure? or is it a technical issue with the 'family' membership subscriptions????

The gamertag is present on the console i have the family account on yet still to no avail. My wish was to add the member and then recover the gamertag on there own console ready for use. I have added deleted added deleted etc etc but still no luck. Any help would be grateful.
