We have a 250GB xbox 360 which is not reading discs any more. Just wondering if we bought a new 4GB, can we put the hard drive from the original machine in it? If so, is it just a matter of plugging it in or what needs to be done to get it working?
Hi RegularRain8, Is your current Xbox 360 the original or the new S edition. They are different Xbox hard drive accessories. There is a basic process for installing an existing hard drive to a new Xbox 360. Check out the guide here
