Account reinstation?

My account auto-renewed my gold membership on an expired credit card, and last night it kicked me off of Live and told me my account was banned until the issue was resolved. I fixed the issues with my payment options, but here it is over 24 hours later and my account has still not been reinstated. What's the problem and is there anyway I can fix it?

You may have fixed one detail on the account, but other problems (like an unpaid balance) could remain. For this, I do suggest you go to http://www.xbox.com, sign in at upper right with your Microsoft Account email and password, then go to http://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us?xr=footnav#0:2:5and click on Request a Call from the Billing Team.
