Account Region

A year ago I was able to change my region at this page:

live.xbox.com/en-US/BillingMigration/SelectRegion

Now it's gone. Why? Where can I change my account region now? And if I can't - why?

Help page said I'll be able to change region once in a year. Year already passed. What happened?

Xbox has taken that link away for changing regions.

You now have to call support to change you region.

Alot of people post on forums on saying they did it by accident or they got hacked now at least it's more secure but I doubt they expanded the selection

Yes, the help page said you can change it once a year, but it also said that it could not be reversed since the migration tool was only made available for 9 countries.

Unfortunately the changing region once per year thing is inaccurate. Region migration was only supported to new LIVE markets, and it was a one-time migration. At this time, all migration is disabled. We do not have any further information on it at this time.

Correct - migration was only intended for users who reside in countries newly supported by LIVE at the time. These users were allowed to migrate their accounts to bring their accounts into compliance with the Terms of Use. Unfortunately, this option is only available one-way at this time.
