Account region is set to USA or English? I'm in AUSTRALIA!

I made an account using GFWL a while back and never got asked for my region. When I sign in here it thinks I'm in the USA, when I'm playing Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition on Steam it thinks I'm in England, but I live in AUSTRALIA!

I can't buy anything or get XBL on my 360 because my account is the wrong region. I can't play online with Street Fighter on PC because matchmaking constantly matches me with English players and the lag is unbearable.

I'm trying XBL Community Ambassador but all I have is page after page of:

Xbox Ambassador says:
Locating Community Ambassador...
And no on to help me and the only regions my account will let me migrate to are nowhere close to what I need.
How do I change my account region? I can't use the service like this.

you cannot change a region once it is set, you can only migrate it to one of the newly added 9 regions and since USA and UK and Australia are established Live regions you cannot migrate to any of them.  your ONLY option is to create a new account if you want to buy and download content based on your correct region, sorry.,

I agree with Dragonterran. I am currently having the OPPOSITE problem where I have moved to Canada & can't do anything about my account due to Microsoft's stupid region settings.

If they won't let us change region then they owe us for the many hours WASTED in character development in RPGs and the like.

For the 360 simply set-up an account for the correct region to download the DLC and then play it on your main account. Not as elegant as Microsoft allowing migration but it does solve the problem for the most part. Of course things such as avatar items can't be used by other accounts.

Limited edition DLC should be available to other profiles providing the correct licenses are in place.
