Account hacked

I just recovered my xbox live account this morning after it had been hacked.

My question is will the support team automatically follow up and investigate the xbox system last used to access my account for disciplinary action, or do I need to file a complaint for that investigation to take place?

I would like to see that the system used to access my account get at the very least a perma-ban.

Hey Xondrious, If your account has been compromised, you will want to contact customer support http://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us, and ask them to open a Unauthorized Access Investigation (UAI).
