Account Corruption

Hi, for the past few months or so my account has been getting randomly corrupted about every day, I'm really getting sick and tired of re-downloading my account just to get online or even play on the account at all. I've called multiple times @ 18004MYXBOX and I keep coming across these horrible customer support agents. The last lady I called even hung up on me and was completely unprofessional, and the other guy was rude and didn't want to help me. Can someone here please help? It's really not cool man.

Are you downloading the gamertag to a hard drive?  Is it an official MS hard drive?  Have you tried deleting the tag, clearing the cache, restarting the console before redownloading the tag?

What about saving the tag to an alternate storage device (ie. 4 gb storage on a slim console)?

Hey derNeon,

I just want to confirm that it is an official 120g MS HDD for the Xbox. Have you tried saving your profile on a different storage unit? Probably a 32 gig MS flash drive?

reach back and let us know what you find out.
