Account blocked/Credential problem when signing in on live..

Ok... Here is the issue I am having... My Microsoft account is blocked as too many password entries are made?! I have not made any wrong password entries (suspect another individual is trying to gain access) also when signing into live there is a problem with credentials... So upon seeing this I attempt to sign into my account on the website, however I hit a brick wall as it won't let me sign in.. As it is blocked... Luckily I changed the password before having this problem of the account being blocked... But again I notice there is another issue my account security proofs which I entered have been changed... They do not match what I originally entered which is odd.. I just noticed this when all of this started.. Please note I cannot gain access at all.. And stuck for answers.. I cannot sign in/download my profile as I deleted it from my memory due to being corrupt, also the service alert I noticed mentioned there was a sign in/download 'issue' so I waited.. It now appears it has been corrected.. But I still cannot gain any access to my account to change the email (which are not the correct email which I linked to the account.) please HELP! I need a answer! As I only just renewed my Xbox Live.

Can someone please give me a answer even if it is just a quick answer... This is supposed to be support... Just give me a solution or a straight forward answer to what is stated above... Surely people have had the problems I have but I don't see a forum on the subject... Just want to get this sorted... I am getting tired of the constant issues which seem to plague Microsoft products/services...

These forums are mostly just Ambassadors, who are just gamers as well who can help if they have wisdom on the subject.

Personally i've never seen this issue before, which is why the lack of response.

There are some official support members who do post, but they read everything from oldest to newest, so replying to your own post bumped you to the back of the line, and me replying will do that as well.

Hey springer cheers for the answer at least I got a quick answer and apologies for the rather 'rude' comment above your own.. Just I have already attempted chatting with support, did not call.. This is the update:  account is still blocked I can gain absolutely no access to the account whatsoever, although the support given was great in terms of being polite and getting right on the case. The advice given of what to do next was exactly what I have already attempted which was to post on the forum about the issue.. I am happy I got a answer but not much in the way of a solution..

Here is what was suggested by support: using another MSA (Microsoft Account) post the issue on answers.microsoft.com (eventually led me to the Xbox site) now support was very helpful in that they cancelled my 3 month trial and gave me another code, so that it wouldn't waste any time.. (Renewed live before I knew about this issue with my account) As I cannot access it here or on my console. Please also note that I have attempted account recovery, also reset the password... I have the info to sign in but can't I need to sign in to change one or both the security proofs that is the issue as well as the account being blocked.

One more thing.. Support mentioned to post the support code.. Microsoft Support Code: [MOD REMOVED]

Happy to report this issue as it seems it is pretty rare to happen (or has not happened) thanks.. Any advice would be appreciated.

Sorry to hear you're having issues with your account, what you're describing definitely sounds suspicious.

I would highly recommend using our article on What to do if you believe your Xbox Live Account has been stolen.

It sounds like you're done steps 1 and 2 but I would double check step 3 and give step 4 a shot. Make sure that you have that information available whenever you contact Phone Support. They are the ones best equipped to assist you further with your account security, I'm not sure why they sent you to the forums.
