Account auto renewed. Anything i can do?

Title pretty much says it all. I was on a promotional 3 month plan, wanted to cancel but the plan auto renewed this morning. I did not get an email notification. Customer support removed the auto renew but refused to give me a refund. I think this is a very poor policy since you have to call to cancel the auto renew. Anything i can do to get a refund (i no longer need Live)?

Phone support would be the only ones who could give you a refund.
