I'm a Canadian citizen and I bought my Xbox console in Canada. I just recently moved to the States and I still have my Canadian based console.
Problem is, last month I bought a 3-month Xbox Live Gold Membership card and when I inputted the code, the system said that it wouldn't work. So I went back to the store and told them what happened and they supplied me with another card, free of charge. Once I got home and inputted the code, the same thing happened. I've been told that this is because my system and account are both based in Canada and the cards are American. So I ask, is there any way to get around this? I don't want to have to go to Canada and back just to get a Gold Membership.
