831188FE error

I have to verify my security before I can log in to live. I typed in email and password, then error 831188FE showed up. I went to support and followed: delete profile, reset/clear storage, download profile, restart Xbox... And still same error. I have logged in and out of Microsoft and verified info on the suggested site from the error. Any one help or suggest what to do? time is ticking on paid live account... Thanks!

Hey mate, I know you've said you've done this, but please follow the link and click 'Manage your security info' and sign-in. Make sure you have two security proofs there and they are indeed verified: support.xbox.com/.../add-security-proof

After you are 100% sure they are good to go, delete your profile from the console (profile only), clear the system cache 3 times. Restart the console and re-download your profile.

Delete and re-download profile: support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete

Clear system cache: support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache

Tried this and still brings me back to square one.... I need to do security check... Which results in error....😞

When your doing the security check are you doing it on the Xbox or the PC? Try verifying your proofs through the PC before going back on the console and If you doing it on the PC and it's giving you an error message please post that message as you shouldn't get the same error code through the PC.

Im having the exact same problem. Been on phone with tech support. they said to activate 2-stp verification then to turn it off. they said that should work. i tried that. didnt work. now support wont answer my calls.
