Certified Cisco CCNA & Sonicwall CSSA here...
I have error 80072ee2 - on ALL of my Xbox 360's.
ISP: Cable one - not reporting any issues
Internet Connection: Cable Internet - 100Mbps/5Mbps (Down/Up)
Router: Buffalo 600N modified with DD-WRT firmware I built, Atheros N+ drivers
Router logs: No communication errors, no dropped or malformed packets, no transmission anomilies
Xbox 360: Elite 250Gb with HDD cache cleared, and WIRED connection
Xbox connection test passes all, no issues with full open NAT
Verified Xbox live status page is all AOK - Ummmm, not so much...
I do not believe there is any reason to blame any single ISP, or the Xbox itself, as an issue like this occurring on this may ISP's - All over the world - would be so sincerely impractically impossible that is should not be brought up.
The issue appears to be with the Xbox Live service itself...
Would it be possible for a person who may be actually on payroll to look into these numerous complaints?
