800704 DC Sorry, xbox live profiles can't be downloaded right now, try again later...

I've had this issue before in the past! I have had to go through this several times. I tried to log in the other day after my free trial expired and somehow renewed into another free trial... and i couldn't log in, i kept getting 800704DC can't connect to xbox live so i deleted my profile. Now i can't even redownload it! It keeps giving me 800704 DC Sorry, xbox live profiles can't be downloaded right now, try again later. This has been going on for 2 days now.

As i said, i had this problem several times in the past and i'm getting very tired of it. It seems like whenever my gold runs out or a free trial expires it locks my account out of xbox live. I've even had issues where i had to transfer my profile to a flashdrive and back on to fix it. I've tried everything!

I changed my password, i used a flashdrive to try and download the profile on that. I've cleared my cache, i've logged into here to validate no flags were up on my account i mean COME ON! How do you expect to run a business when people constantly lose access to their profiles? I tried to contact support but the page doesn't even load, i mean you guys can't even get your support site to work! 

I'm sorry but i am VERY upset with this service and i've been a member for over SIX YEARS. As i stated i've had issues with my profile over and over and over and OVER AGAIN! I want this fixed ASAP and it needs to STAY FIXED. Escalate this issue, do what you have to do, just fix my profile and for gods sake fix this error because it's been an issue since 2011!!!

Hey! Sorry to hear about the hassle you have been through. 

Yes, this is a common issue. Profiles may get corrupted if there is an abrupt shutting down of the console or if it was not signed out properly.
To get LIVE you also need to have a Live Gold subscription.

First, make sure that your console is getting a good signal during the download and that there are no interruptions during the download because this is a possible cause for the error. 

Do these steps in order:

1. Go to http://account.live.com

2. log in to your account.

3. add a security proof. another email or phone number

4. go to edit security info. make sure that two step verification is off

On the console:

Go to Settings>>System>>Storage>>All Devices>>Gamer Profiles.
Select the gamertag that you want to delete.
Select Delete>>Delete Profile Only.

On your controller, kindly press the Guide button>>Settings>>System Settings>>Storage or Memory.
Highlight any storage device>>press Y>>Clear System Cache>>Yes.
Please do this 3 times in a row. We need to make sure that the corrupted files are cleared out from your console.

Turn off the console for 30 seconds and then back on. Download your profile. That it!  ^_^

I've done this and about everything else that can be done, i assure you none of it has helped. I wouldn't submit a post here had i not been through everything twice over. Today i tried to remove my credit card from my payments option and it's telling me i owe money... which is odd because i haven't been charged anything nor does my card allow overdrafts!

The only thing i can think of is they are holding my profile down because they tried to charge me for a month of gold and it didn't work. I checked the date on my renewed payments option and wouldn't you know it!? It's the same day i started having issues logging in... this needs to be forwarded to someone in your accounting department and they need to straighten out the payment issues.

In that case, you need to contact phone or chat support so they can trace the activities on your account like violations or locks. Yes, if issue remains unresolved, they will escalate it to the Advocacy Specialist.
