3F4B 0000 3080 0506 8007 2EE2 Error Code

When I start my X Box 4GB it tells my I have an update, after trying to update it gives me the above mentioned error code. I have tried using the flash drive update, it just ignores the flash drive and tells me I have an update. I have tried everything mentioned in the forums nothing happens. I have tried for two months now. Can I get my live subscription back, for the two months I have missed?

Hi there,

I had the same problem earlier on today with this morning's Live Update. I managed to solve my issue by:

Disconnecting from the internet all together, going into Settings/System/Storage/All Devices/System Items and deleted my content cache.

once that was done, I made sure my connection was working properly (I use Wired LAN connection into the back of the console), restarted my router then re-tried the update.

with regards to your Gold Subscription, you may have to contact Microsoft's Customer Services with the problem and provide as much information as possible, including the Error Code.

The update could not be downloaded from Xbox LIVE. Try the following:

  1. Try installing the update again.
  2. If you’re having problems connecting or staying connected to Xbox LIVE, see Xbox LIVE connection problems.

Note You can also update your console software by copying the update to a USB flash drive or a disc and then applying it to the console. See Troubleshoot console software update problems.

3F4B-0000-3080-050C-8B05-0018 is the error code I keep getting and I can't find anything about it. Any help?
