360 Signs me out whilst using YouTube/Twitch .

Hello there folks, Ive had a look around and I cant find a topic for this specific issue. So Im posting here hoping to find help/help others with the same issue.

So my 360 is signing me out after about 15 minutes when I am using YouTube or Twitch. There is no rhyme or reason to it. I have tested my XB1 and it is NOT doing the same thing. It runs those apps without sign out issues just fine. So Ive tried running games on my 360 and it seems that they are NOT signing me out, so it is only occuring with the 360 and as far as I know with YouTube and Twitch. This only started recently. I have tried clearing the cache, resetting my router, deleting my profile and re-downloading it, forwarding ports - pretty much everything recommended.

Is this just a bug that I am experiencing? Id love some help or even to know Im not alone. :-)

I am sorry you're experiencing this, I will try my best to help you!

One thing you didn't mention is removing the apps and re-installing them. I would suggest doing that if you haven't done so already.

Also, we might have been experiencing some technical difficulties with those apps or the xbox live service. You can check the service of our apps and Xbox Live services here: support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-status

I deleted the Apps, it didnt work. As I said these issues only persist on my 360 NOT my XB1.

Im having a similar problem, my 360 signs me out when ever i do anything. Going from dashboard, to a game or netflix i get signed out. It also does the same thing when i go from game back to dashboard.

Im really glad that it isnt just me. As Ive said my XB1 works perfectly, not a problem in sight. My 360 only seems to sign me out when using video apps. I can play games without being signed out just fine, so far. Its just another 360 bug in a long line of them since the XB1 launched. Makes me think that the Support staff for the 360 have been marginally reduced and moved over to the XB1, which is just good business, but still. My 360 is in excellent condition and I still get use out of it.

Hey there!

If you're getting disconnected when starting apps, I have a quick fix that may be able to help clear this up. If you re-download your profile by pressing the Guide button and scrolling down to "Download profile" this should clear it up. You don't need to delete your profile with this step, just re-enter your sign-in information and it should re-download.

Nope. As I said in my opening message, I tried the re-downloading thing and it did not work.

Ah shoot! Apologies for that, I completely missed that part. Thanks for clarifying.

Just to make sure, do you have a different profile on your console you can test with these apps to see if there is any change with them?

I did try it with a different profile too, my flatmates. No dice, again. :-(

Hmm. Really weird that it's just with these apps.

What does your current network setup look like? Are you wired or wireless? Any chance to test a wired connection if you wired to see if there's any change?

Well, a small update. I was playing Halo 4, and lo and behold the same thing happened. I was disconnected from Live. So it seems it is not localized to these apps. I am using a Wireless network, and the same happens with a Wired connection. Every other device (including my Xbox One) is not experiencing any problems like this.
