320gb Slim Hard drive e68 error

Im having problems with my hard drive, i left my 4gb Xbox 360 Slim console on bout 2 hours and came back and it was making a weird noise and it froze. I didnt mess wit it no more that day. I turned it back on got a red dot and a e68 error, I had the hard drive for bout a year sepreatly from the system. There is got to be a way to repair it without buying a new hard drive!

You could try pulling the HD, then putting it back in (powered off).  This has worked for some people.  It could be just a matter of the connector not being seated correctly.  However, there is usually no way to fix a bricked hd.  This is why it's a good idea to backup important game saves on the cloud save feature.  But I am a bit confused...you say it's a 4gb slim, but the title says 320...

imma try this but yes i have 4GB Xbox Console and a 320GB Slim Hard drive
