3151 -335A - 1380 - 2203 - C000 - 0001 Update Error.

Before someone flames, I've seen the other post about this error, It doesn't seem relevant to mine.

 

I was able to access Live last night, watching netflix and all, that's all I really do. Today I woke up decided to watch something on the 360. 

 

Signed into my profile (not this one, I forgot the email I used for my main one), Which has an active subscription. 

It said I needed an update~ It downloaded fine. However afterwards, during the "Update In Progress" Stage, the green bar gets nearly all the way to the end and then, while my xbox controller is still connected and lights on and everything, it says "Please Reconnect Controller"  O.o And that message stays there regardless of what I do to my controller.

 

Then after what seems like 10minutes~ I get a popup

 

"Update Failed" 

"Can't process the update. if the problem persists, go to www.xbox.com/support."

blah blah blah. I really don't know whats going on.. Someone help x_X? Is this a faulty update in some regions or something? Because My warranty has run out, I've already sent the 360 in for repair over the red ring once already.

MINES WORKING AGAIN!

Mine would go right to the error status when i turned it on.

I called, they had me open the tray then pull the power cord (I didnt have a game in and had to open the tray as it was turning on).  They said push the tray half way in and then plug it back in.   I did and it looked like it was going to try and install the update again.  Then it gave me a message that I needed to reinstall the HDD (I had pulled it off earlier and forgot to put it back on)  I installed the HDD while the power was on and the screen looked like the box was resetting, it then began to redownload the update and booted fine.  I put Black Ops in and was able to sign into Live and go into a match.

This is how they are dealing with the modded xboxes, thats fine and dandy but what about all of us whom havent modded or otherwise tampered with our systems??? Why should we be screwed too???? Mine original as the day I bought it (besides them fixing the rrod) Man xboxes are JUNK!!!!!

Dont waste your time calling the support line either..... They SUCK and are only there to get you off the phone!!!

mine is the same!!! [mod removed] is ms playing at this time as i cant use the gold service im paying for!!! reaks of PS3 Sony nonsense to me!!!
