3 Red Lights on Xbox 360 (Pro) Green Power supply

I have been looking everywhere at all the possible ways to fix my Xbox 360 but NONE of them ever work, this will be the third time it has done this to me.

The first time I had to send it to get fix and that took a long time to come back to me.

The second time it happened this year, around August BUT I tried letting it cool down (it wasn't hot) and then I put in a Ethernet cable in and all of a sudden it works.

The third time it was about 5 days latter after I fixed it and it did the same thing. I opened my Xbox up and cleaned it (also cleaned CPU & GPU) then I put some thermal paste to keep out the heat. It didn't work.
I really want to get back on Xbox live and play :-(

So can you Xbox people help me please.

well theres very little any official channels will do as you have opened the console yourself.

id say there are two options:

1) Buy a new xbox.

2) Take a risk and get someone unofficial to look at it.

if you phone xbox support they may offer to fix it, but it won't be free as the case seals are broken.

Yep looks like your only options are to buy a new one or get someone besides Microsoft to fix it.

Microsoft may fix it but chances are since you have been inside the console they will deny repair.

Sorry there's nothing that can be done now that you've opened it up.  For future reference when you send the console in for repair there is a warranty attached to it when you get it back in case you have further problems.  You should've contacted support again to have it sent back.

Also, we do not recommend sending the console to a third party for repairs as that could result in your console being banned from the Live service altogether.
