Problem signing in to Xbox live

I have a Microsoft account which I can log into from my laptop but I can't find how to log into it on the Xbox 360. On the Xbox I have tested and have full internet connectivity and see game browsing options on HOME, but gather that I can't play any games without signing in? Please can someone help? Thanks.

can you specify if there is any error code shown when you try to sign in, since it may help to determine any steps for you to try.

For example I don't know the specifics, but if your password exceeds 12 or 16 characters then you will have to change your password to a shorter password.
Also if you have set up two step verification, you will have to use an App password instead of your own password to sign in on the Xbox 360.

And Check if there is any Error Code And Contact Us

If you have never logged on your xbox 360, then chances are your account is not on there. Follow the instructions on here https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/xbox-360/my-account/manage-gamertag-and-profile/add-remove-profile-xbox-360 it should give you the info you need.

I have same issue only one I forgot my log in code how do I rest the sign in code? Please help. Thank you. I figured it out lol.
