Is my xbox live account suspended?

Every time i try to play a game online it tells me that my account settings are blocking online multiplayer, ive checked all of my online settings and its not the problem, is my account suspended? and if so, why?

if your account was suspended you would get a different message.

go to https://account.microsoft.com/ then click on Privacy at the top

sign in and see if any of the settings there are preventing online multiplayer

it's only impossible until someone does it

Ive tried what you said, all of my settings allow online play, i should mention it was the game itself telling me about my settings being changed, when i try to play, a screen from the xbox itself tries to load and then nothing happens it goes back to the game and it repeats as i try to play

does this affect all games or just that 1?

it could be a problem with the game servers.

you could try a Power Cycle to clear the cache.

hold the power button for 10 seconds until the Xbox completely turns off then switch off the power at the wall and unplug it for at least 5 minutes.

while it is doing that you could reset your router by switching off the power and unplugging it for 10 minutes.

wait for the router to fully start with all lights green before starting your Xbox.

hopefully that will clear it up

Im trying the power cycle now, it is every game that is telling me that, if this doesnt work i would like to get some help from microsoft because something is obviously wrong and i think my account was suspended for some reason idk what i did

your account hasn't been suspended if it says that settings are blocking you.

if you were suspended it would say clearly that you have been suspended

you would also have a message from Xbox Live saying that and an outline of the section of the Code of Conduct that was broken.

it could be a server problem due to the unusually high number of people online due to the Covid problems everywhere.

I power cycled it and it did nothing so i turned my xbox off for about an hour, i switched to my phone's mobile hotspot connection and the page that wasnt loading finally loaded and said my xbox live gold expired LOL i cant believe it didnt load that never happens but thank you for your help!
