Xbox One stuck on green loading screen?

As above my xbox One cannot get passed the green loading screen?  I have tried all the normal fixes Halting power button for 10 seconds, Hard boot with the power.

Its still hanging..

Any Ideas?

Hi, you can try to do a factory reset.

  1. power off your console by pressing the xbox key on the front for aprox 10 seconds
  2. when powered off, press and hold, the binding/sync button + the eject button + power button
  3. wait untill you will hear 2 beeps (aprox 10 to 15 second)
  4. release the buttons and a menu will apear on the display from where you can do a factory reset.

If the factory reset does not work, then try waiting 15 minutes, to see if it will launch the dashboard. If it doesn't, then you may have to book the console in for repair.

I was hoping not to do a factory reset,  I have downloaded the update on USB will try that first.  

Fingers crossed..

Ok,  so I managed to download the file to a USB, went through the instructions and the file wouldnt load.  It started to then kept coming back with an error..

After getting frustrated I turned the xbox off with the USB still plugged in, and for some reason it then started to download.  After it had finished the xbox cane back online with all saves and games.

I have done a factoey reset in the past and this is by far a lot easier as all I had to reload were my kids profiles.  Fingers crossed qont have to do it again.  

Hope this info helps anyone in with the same issue..

This method worked for me, but it took about 30 minutes. it has worked error free since.

We do have a wizard accessible online that should help with this issue.

Follow the steps here at Troubleshoot Xbox One startup errors

If that doesn't end up helping, you might have to go through the repair process for your console and get it shipped out to Microsoft for repair.

You can get that started up by visiting our site at https://support.microsoft.com/devices  

Try those steps and let us know how they help with the resolution of the issue

Hi

Restoring with the USB worked,

However I am now having the issue again, only this time it just hangs on the green screen and does not go to the black one.

I have tried to use the USB as before but it just will not initialise the program,  it starts then pops up something went wrong with error E101.

Im hoping its not because I'm a member of the preview program and one of their updates killed it...

Will continue to try as long as my patience holds out, then Factory reset.

My Previous Thread about this issue has been locked for some reason even though the issue is still ongoing, if its locked how can I continue to inform other users having the same problems of my findings and solutions??

Providing a link to the help page on Xbox Live is not a solution!

XBF Leonzo G can you reopen my previous Thread.  The solution you gave which was a link to the support page was not helpful, also the link you provided to the Insider Forum just went to the very forum I had posted on?  You suggested I post on the insider Hub App,  How can I access the App when I cannot access anything on my Xbox?

Please Advise..
