Xbox one S - hard disk noise when in standby

is normal that the hard disk of  my console when  in standby, while i download gears of war 4 , makes this noise? it also does to you?   Thanks

Hey there,

So if you are downloading something while your Xbox is in Instant-On mode, then your Xbox will download any updates or games. In your case, your Xbox is downloading Gears of War 4, so your Xbox will make some noises while the download is going on. This is all normal. The noises should stop when it is done downloading the game. No need to worry about it :)

I know that the hard drive makes noise when it is in use, but I wonder if in the video of my console the clicking of HDD is higher than normal....

Ok  I wasn't sure if that was background noise or not. Has the clicking happened before at any time? or did it just start? And is it more of a metal shaking noise or actual clicking?

any time i hear this noise in hard disk, but especially when play or download a game....
