Xbox One Media Remote Support

Ah! I'm glad I'm not the only one! I've been having the same problem since I use youtube everyday to watch videos and love it on my xbox one but would love for it to navigate through youtube entirely!

It's not just a lack of support for the Xbox One Media Remote. I have a Logitech Harmony Remote that works with the Xbox One and it also doesn't work with the YouTube App. The only device that seems to work with the YouTube app is the controller. It's a shame since the Xbox One Media Remote works really well in other apps like Twitch,Crackle and Machinama.

It seems any gripe I have is already well documented in these forum pages. Can't believe I never came in here before recently. This one is a real inconvenience. Not having the One Media Remote working with the One YouTube app. As I am usually stuck on the baby mat with my toddler climbing on my head or something at the time. I use YouTube for him mostly. Not to worry. For now, my workaround is my 360 running through the HDMI port on the One. 360 YouTube app and remote. Looking forward to an update in the meantime.

I'll be  waiting for Microsoft to fix  this  you tube, media remote problem since I buy the remote the launch day and nothing yet, so for what I need this remote if I can't use with all app in the xbox one???????.

I just bought the Xbox One Mediate Remote and it is all most completely NOT supported for the you tube app that I bought it for, thanks ! It is completely useless with the You Tube app.

Please add support for the Xbox One Media Remote on YouTube App!
