Xbox game pass not working

I purchased the xbox game pass for pc today and I am unable to download or play any games. The home screen on the app says I need to get the game pass but when I click to get the game pass it says that it is active and says manage instead of buy. If I then go back to the game pass home screen this all repeats.

I have already uninstalled, repaired and reset the xbox app. I have tried logging out and logging back in, I have made sure I am on the correct account and have the correct subscription and none of it has worked. I still get the same issue.

I have exactly the same issue described above.

Signed up for game pass ultimate about 40 mins ago via the xbox app, cannot for the life or me figure out how to download anything, any game i click on it sends me to the promotion page for game pass with the option for regular game pass (greyed out) and game pass ultimate with a button that says 'manage'. This manage button takes me to my Microsoft billing page in browser where it shows my subscription to gamepass ultimate with a correct valid debit card.

I've made sure my PC is fully updated with the latest windows 10 updates, restarted, signed out and back in. still the same problem.

including below screen caps for ease to see as it seems to be a never ending loop:

I have this issue to but I found a fix. Try using the Microsoft Store App instead of the Xbox App. I was able to download, install and the play games with the Microsoft Store App. Later on, the Xbox App shows the game I installed and is playable.
