Xbox Game Pass for PC not freeing up space after uninstall

I have uninstalled 3 game pass games and none of them have freed up space however they are no longer visible in Xbox game pass, settings > Apps, Control Panel > Add report , etc

i have tried making myself the owner to the windows app folder as some have suggested and i can now see the individual files, however i am still unable to uninstall as it says i don't have permissions (i am unable to add these permissions)

please someone help this is doing my Nut in,

Hello Edgelord1989, in addition to these procedures you did on the PC, could you tell if you tried a few more, and if your Windows has the latest version installed at 21H1?

Hi Georges,

thank you for the above, however after doing everything suggested the folders are still there and taking up space. I can confirm I have windows 10 home 21H1

Try this on your PC:

Step 1: Click Update & security on the Settings page to continue.

Step 2: Click Recovery and click Get Started on the right to continue.

Step 3: Choose Keep my files to reset your PC.

Step 4: Read the subsequent messages and click Reset.

After the computer has restarted successfully, you have refreshed Windows 10.

This will remove the game files of your PC.
