Hello. I got a new computer. An ASUS ROG Zypherus with AMD Ryzen 7 CPU @ 5200HS, and Radeon GPU at 3.2ghz. 16 GB RAM. only 512GB SSD storage.
Been about two weeks, and I loving the computer. Powerful gaming processor, it seems, and the visuals are stunning in any game I play!! As I continue to play my games, I continued to record my gameplay using Xbox game bar as I've done on previous computer. All seemed great for a week or two.
NOW? Last few days during game play and recording, the game bar stops recording short of any limitations of time, or data, and says "Recording isn't working. Error: 0x82323404", screen shot below from a browser game "Roblox", I was playing Theme Park Tycoon 2, and was exploring a park I had built while recording.
After reading some information here on thread, I gathered some information. Posting more screenshots to demonstrate information without trying to type everything.

Hello Dman, in the last image you sent you have the option to install Update for version 21H1, you need to install this update and then do the later security updates, after the PC restart check that there are updates of the Xbox App in the Microsoft store.

well you gave us a pic showing your update history, but you still have not installed the latest 21h1 update, this needs to be installed, once this is installed then restart pc and head back to the windows store and check for updates, some apps will not update to the latest version untill you have the very latest windows feature update, you are not invisible but that update needs to be installed and then check windows store updates after, once that is done then further troublshooting can be done.

I did the update 21h1! Infact, after I did the update, when I was looking at the Windows Updates window, it downloaded and did the same update second time? as if it didn't finish the update or something? I don't know. But after that, I got these two screenshots.

The others in the tabs between were security updates, or nothing in the driver update was current.
After those, I went to Microsoft store, and checked my current apps, and opened the information window for Xbox Game bar, Xbox game bar add on, and something else for Xbox game bar, none of those had any listed Updates showing. That was navigated to from the Downloads and Updates list. Those among others were shown in list, but when I opened each selection, I couldn't see where it says "Update" or how to proceed. It seemed it was current. I don't know.

Further. I had a question about storage (and no I have not gone back into a game and/or tried recording yet, to see if works. Yet). My laptop has a SSD of 456GB free space (supposed to be a 512GB SSD, assuming it doesn't show some of that as usable, reserving for core functions), it shows 352GB is available. That is PLENTY space if I recon, but video takes up a G or 2 for 30m-1h recordings, +/- some... does the amount of available storage have anything to do with the recording? Will it discontinue cause it thinks storage is gonna run out soon? Would it at least save the recording of what I had upto that moment when it cuts off??
These recordings I've been doing, few times the recording cuts off within seconds after I start it, so I notice right away something wrong, and don't continue. Other times, I've recorded for 30m-1h and it cuts off with that error message, but I don't find the recording of what it's recorded so far, any where. As if it deletes that or doesn't get saved? I'm curious if that has anything to do with the storage capacity! Asside from those observations, I also have 1 of two different external media HD, I have a KESU 1Tb, and a WD 2Tb, both HD, both under 30% capacity used. So I should have PLENTY of capacity for video storage? Correct??

How are you, mate?
If the recording is not saved before having the problem, the recording is lost. To isolate the problem, did you change where recordings are saved? To change it, just move the captures folder to another storage.
