Xbox Error Code 0x8007023e

This error code shows up whenever i try and play any game. The only info i can find is to hard reset your xbox. Or its for windows

Yes. I have had the some problem as well Ive looked everywhere but cannot find a solution on my end. It’s seems to be a problem on the Xbox servers side.

So best thing we can do is to sit tight and wait for Xbox to give the all clear or just scratch our heads until our hair falls out. I’m going with the latter.

I’ve tried tweeting @xboxsupprt to no avail and all their reps are currently busy. If I find an answer I’ll come back but this issue seems to be pretty spread out. For me it’s only game pass games that won’t launch, have one game that I own and it’s sweet. So possibly an issue server side for game pass.

Hello, My name is Jesse. I'm an Independent Advisor and a member of the Microsoft community and I'd love to assist you today.

I'll recommend you do a power cycle to clear the system cache

- Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

- Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 2 minutes.

- Plug the console power cable back in. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on and check if it's all good.

If that doesn't help, I'll suggest you try doing a factory reset keeping games and apps on your console. This will refresh the console and remove all potential bugs without deleting any game data.

- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
- Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.
- Select Reset console.
- Choose Keep Games and Apps

Once that is done, you'll need to sign into the console using your Microsoft account credentials. If the issue is with your console, that should fix it.

Hope this helps.

Xbox support just put this up

“We are aware some of our customers may be experiencing issues launching games and apps. We're currently investigating and will update here & on our status page as we learn more.

xbox.com/status “

If you go to the status link you can sign up to get a txt when it’s back up
