Xbox design lab keeps giving me "An email address is required to use this site. Update your Microsoft account and try again."

I've tried removing my email and re-adding it, I've tried getting in contact with someone, anyone, and I've tried signing in with a different account, and I've tried different devices. Nothing works.

Hi Pineapple8470, my name is Rodrigo. I'm an Independent Advisor and a member of the Microsoft community and I'd love to assist you today. I am sorry to hear that. There's a quick fix for this issue, you need to create a new account alias and make it your primary. You can revert to your previous alias aftere you sucesfully sign in on the Xbox Design Lab page. Log in to your account with your current primary e-mail here: https://account.live.com/names/manage On this page, you can add a new e-mail address and then select it as your primary by clicking on Make primary. Then access the Xbox Design Lab page again. I hope this helps. Kind Regards,

Rodrigo

Ditto - same issue. Been having this problem regardless of computer, phone, browser, etc. Bought a controller last year without a problem and made no changes to the account. Called the support line and they could not solve the problem either.

Never worked for me either. Keep checking back every couple of months and they have fixed nothing. I assume they just hate making extra money.

Just decided I am gonna try getting a designed Elite Series 2 and then bam hit with this and none of the solutions works, tried even on different browsers. Not sure what this site is doing but it ain't the same as all the other Microsoft sites. Something needs fixing for sure. Having to change Alias's which doesn't work anyway should not be the solution for this issue. I dare say there is 1000's of people with this same issue but never bother to come here and comment and just give up immediately.

I'm having the same exact issue and tried everything. "An email address is required to use this site. Update your Microsoft account and try again." I didn't have this problem last year. Annoying.

I'm also having this problem

Worked fine back in April when I purchased a controller for someone else, but now I want one of my own and it just does this. Tried different browsers, clearing caches, different machines, can't even make a new account right now because the "Help us beat the robots" sign in challenge is not loading.

Microsoft needs to get their act together. Ridiculous.
