Xbox 360s Red ring/dot of death

Hi there,

A half year ago my friend had a xbox, while playing the xbox redringed.

So he bought a new one but now im trying to fix his old xbox.

When i boot up the console for the first time it worked, i could play games. But when i restarted it Redring.

I took it apart and could not find the error, everything was fine only a lot of dust ( Cleaned it).

I dont know the error and i dont know what to do now.

Any help would be great.

We can't help you here. Since the Xbox works some of the time, it's probably heat. Google. Opening your console is against Microsoft TOS.
