Xbox 360 error code c000-0185

I am getting the error code c000-0185 when I am trying to update my Xbox 360. Can anyone assist me to fix this issue.

Hi,

Try this > Clear cache memory ( how to https://support.xbox.com/xbox-360/console/clear-system-cache

Turn off the console , then restart

Now, follow the offline method update > https://support.xbox.com/xbox-360/console/system-updates-info

Hi, You may want to try clearing the cache or factory resetting the Xbox to see if that resolves your issue,

This page about the C000-0185 update error has some troubleshooting steps. 

If by chance you have a 4GB Xbox 360, and the second part of the error code is four zeroes however (e.g. 4476-0000-[...]-C000-0185), then I'm afraid that page won't help, and since Microsoft doesn't service Xbox 360 consoles any more, you would need to get a new console. 

The first number is the Version your console is right now, and if that shows 4476, then your console is on the most up to date version. The second number would show the version the console wants to download. If that is 0000, the console can't find a newer update, and if your current update is the most up to date version 4476, it means the current system software is corrupted, which might happen when the flash storage on the Xbox 360 4GB model becomes corrupted for whatever reason.

This isthe error code I am getting 4467-4476-1380-267f-c000-0185. Does this mean I need to get a new console or can this be corrected.

Since your console actually *is* on an outdated version 4467, and tries to download the latest version 4476 (it shows a version number instead of 0000), this is a "regular" c000-0185 error, and you can try to troubleshoot that with the link I gave you above. 

You don't seem to need a new console.

Good night try unpluged the console and internet for two minutes and plug.  Its resolve many of the situations.
