Why won't Sudoku load.?

I've had this loaded for years - my favorite game. I was able to load it this morning and play,, but boniht it refuses to load, giving me this message:: Microsoft Sudoku is currently not available in your account. Make sure you are signed in to the Store and try again. Here’s the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001

I went into the Store and don't see any place where I can sign in.

Can you help?

Try to clean the store's cache:

1. Type CMD in the search bar;
2. Right-click Command Prompt and click Run as administrator;

3. At the Command Prompt screen type wsreset.exe and press Enter;

Wait for the process to finish, the store will open, when it opens you close and restart your PC.

Try to restore your OS then:

Step 1: Click Update & security on the Settings page to continue.

Step 2: Click Recovery and click Get Started on the right to continue.

Step 3: Choose Keep my files to reset your PC.

Step 4: Read the subsequent messages and click Reset.

After the computer has restarted successfully, you have refreshed Windows 10.

I am using a Microsoft Surface Go without a mouse, just the touchpad. I have it set up to right-click by tapping the lower right corner. Unfortunately when I did that on the Command Prompt link, nothing happened. Can you advise?

No, you don't understand. I never got to type the word "wsreset" because nothing happened when I right-clicked (tapped the lower right-hand corner of my touchpad on my Microsoft Surface Go.).

Is there another way to empty the cache?

It is:

try this way:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for windows store app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.

Darn it! It doesn't give me a Repair option, just Terminate, Reset (where I'd lose all of my data...) and Uninstall (which I assume would do the same thing).

Do I have to do one of those? If so, which one?

I also tried clicking on Microsoft Sudoku and got the same options.

So, try to select repair, then terminate. Terminate it will not erase any data, rest assure. :)

No such luck. I googled a few things and it looks like repair isn't an option for the Surface Go, Sounds like I'll have to select reset and lose my data. But that's better than not being able to play the game.

Here's what that page looks like:

But when I clicked on Reset, it said: "This will permanently delete the app's data, including your preferences and sign-in detail."

So I clicked on Uninstall and it said,: "This app and its related info will be uninstalled".

Which one should I choose?
