I'm having trouble with one of the xboxes disconnecting from xbox LIVE every couple of minutes while playing Halo Reach. The other xbox (my son's) does not lose connection while he plays Halo Reach. The xboxes are not connected at the same time. The router is set up with port forwarding for xbox Live, using my son's as the host for port forwarding and the other using his MAC number as the alternate MAC number. The router recognizes both xboxes as one in the same xbox. The router assigns the same ip address to both xboxes. I've tried all the suggested solutions , including clearing the system cache, but nothing has worked. I've also tried using the other xbox as the host for the port forwarding. Both xboxes are the older versions- the one without problems is the MW2 version, the one that disconnects is the Halo ODST /Forza 3 spring special. The troblesome one had problems downloading the newest system update and a USB drive was used to install the update. Not sure if the netwark adapter on the troublesome xbox is to blame.
