Alright. I have basically lost data for Halo 3 twice now. I need help.
I have an HP 8 GB flash drive (Exact model link below) formatted correctly on a dell PC to the Windows FAT32 file system. I would like it to work on a 4 GB Xbox 360 Slim. The drive seems to meet Microsoft's minimum requirements (Source below). When I configure it under Settings > System > Storage > *My USB Drive*, everything appears to work. It told me the amount of memory I had, and let me see in the different folders contained within. I played Halo 3 for about 3 hours, saving on the USB drive, and nothing seemed wrong. Bedtime came, so I shut the console down. However, as soon as I restart the console the next day, the USB seems to un-configure or something. Any data is unobtainable from the xbox menu. Any games stored on the device do not show up under the games tab.
The files are still there when I connect the USB device to my laptop though! After reformatting, I tried again, but all data was unobtainable as soon as the console shuts off.
I hope I can receive a helpful response. Thanks in advance for all help.
