Uncontrollable Xbox One X

I can not control the console. The arrows and the joystick are messy. One click will skip several menus. I can not choose a specific bid. Do you know what to do with it? Watch the video. Thank you for your help.

Oh no! Lets try a hard reset first, then if that doesn't work, do you have another controller you could try?

Hard reset as follows: turn off and unplug the console from the wall for 30 seconds. Then boot it up and test it again.

Unfortunately, the hard reset did not help. I do not have the second controler, but the console is unmanageable even though I control it with a mobile application.

The Xbox is brand new, bought yesterday. The console is also unmanageable with the mobile phone application. It does not look like a controller problem ...

Hi Akbuk, Im sorry to hear you are having issues. I Have 2 possible suggestions that could work. You have tried a hard reset which has failed, and the mobile app is also unable to control it. Did you attempt to control with the mobile app while the controller is offline, if so this looks like a device hardware problem which is odd for a day 1 console but can happen. If this is the case i would recommend contacting a certified Microsoft support person as they can help better than an ambassador. Also try unplugging the console and replugging it in as well just to make sure it can do another full reset.

You're right. When I detach the controller and control the console using a mobile app, everything is fine. So that is a broken controller?

Hi Akbuk,,

When you disconnect the mobile app as a control and use just the control that came with the Xbox what happens? Is it the same as in still skipping tiles?

If it is, try re-syncing the controller and the Xbox using the BIND button. Before you try that, hard reset the Xbox again by holding the power button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until the console shuts down, then restart.

Best Wishes,
Diego
