Unable to Connect to World Minecraft Xbox One

About two weeks ago I all of a sudden was not able to host any multiplayer minecraft worlds. Anyone who tried to join would recieve unable to connect to world message. My NAT type and their NAT type are open. We both are playing on xbox on the same version. I've been spending countless hours trying multiple things over and over including uninstalling, restarting, and disconnecting from the game, xbox live, and my internet. Nothing seems to allow me to host a multiplayer game. Can you help?

Hi there Ryan,

Thanks for reaching out here in Xbox Forums. I understand there is an issue with connecting to a world in Minecraft and hosting a multiplayer match.

I recommend to try the following article: "I can't hear my friends online, or I can't join or host a multiplayer game with my Xbox One".

Try this out and let us know the results.

I have already read this article. My NAT type is already open. This is pretty frustrating as I cannot play with friends on any of my worlds. Any other options?

Hi there Ryan,

Thanks for the reply. To help clarify the issue a bit more,

Is this the only game you are experiencing issues with hosting a multiplayer match?
Are you and your friends running the same version of Minecraft?

  A beta build for Xbox One was accidentally sent out to all players regardless if they were on the beta or not. We are working to get this resolved. Please do not open any saved games if you received this build as you will not be able to open them again until 1.11 releases. -HZ

Have you tried the following Mojang support article: How do I play multiplayer?

If the issue persists, I recommend visiting Minecraft support for further options if you haven't already.

Yes this is the only game I'm experiencing this. Also, we are on the same minecraft build/version. It is very confusing.

Minecraft recently got a new DLC that was rolled out to a select few players. If you were part of the selection then you will be on a newer client to what your mates are on. They wont be able to join you until the DLC rolls out to everyone.

I believe I'm on 1.11.2. I think that is the normal current version. Other friends said they have the same one.

Your Online Safety and privacy settings should be set to allow multiplayer. If it is a child account then you will need the parent account to change the settings.

Are any of your friends in the "preview program" and have minecraft dowloaded through the preview program? And the other does not? If that is the case whomever is in the preview program must get out of the minecraft beta or alpha, then download the regular version. You cannot play together otherwise.
