Struggling with Xbox Series X Streaming Setup: Logitech Camera and SVYHUOK Headset Issues. Seeking Assistance!

I have Twitch on my Xbox Series X, but the new console is very different from my last Xbox One. It has all these new settings from the updates, and everything is moved around. However, I'm trying to figure out how to get my Logitech camera to show my face when I stream; it glows green like it's on, but when I go on Twitch, it's just not there. Yes, it's fully plugged in, by the way. Also, I have this SVYHUOK gamer headset, and I can hear perfectly fine with it plugged into my controller, but I can't seem to get the stream to hear me. Do I need to do something with the Twitch app on my phone? What can I do to fix these problems?

Hello IsaiahJordan1,

Greetings!

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

Based on the description, you're having trouble with your Xbox Series X streaming setup. Let's see if we can help you out.

If we may ask, can you provide us the model for your Logitech camera? The reason why we are asking this question it is because, you’ll need a 1080p webcam that has a YUY2 or NV12 format to stream with your Xbox Series X.

.

Firstly, make sure that your Logitech camera is compatible with the Xbox Series X. For the best experience, we recommend these webcams:

  • Logitech C922 Pro Stream Webcam

  • Logitech C930e Webcam

To live stream with a webcam:

  1. Plug your USB webcam into your Xbox.

  2. Allow your camera to be used for live streaming if you haven’t already:

    • Press the Xbox button to open the guide, go to System & profile > Settings > Account > Privacy & online safety > Xbox privacy > View details & customize > Communication & multiplayer and make sure you can use video for communications.

    • In the guide, go to Capture & share > Live streaming > Camera options and check that your camera is set to On.

  3. Open a live streaming provider app and follow the instructions for streaming.

  4. Start your live stream.

Regarding your SVYHUOK headset, make sure that it is also compatible with the Xbox Series X. If it is, try the following steps:

1. Go to Settings on your Xbox Series X.

2. Select Display & sound.

3. Select Volume.

4. Make sure that the "Headset mic" option is turned on.

5. Go to the Twitch app on your Xbox Series X and start streaming. Your voice should now be audible to your viewers.

You do not need to do anything with the Twitch app on your phone to fix these problems. If these steps do not work, please let me know and we can explore other options.

We look forward to your response. Kindly let us know, if there is any misunderstanding or clarifications of our description by sending us a reply.

Sincerely,

Tomm_A

Tomm_A I couldn’t find out the webcam model or type, but here’s a test I ran. If you notice it from the picture I took to try and identify the model, it’s probably not compatible, and I may just have to buy a new one to replace it, as you suggested.Image

Hello IsaiahJordan1,

Thank you for your prompt response.

It seems that your webcam works fine when using it on your Windows PC but on streaming using your Xbox console and it is possible that the webcam is not supported in Xbox Console. You may consider checking the compatible webcam that will work on console through the link we have provided on my previous reply.

Thank you for bringing this concern here and glad to provide the needed information.

Sincerely,

Tomm_A
