Slay the Spire version 2 on Xbox game pass?

If it makes it any better, Origin access has it at version 2 already...

Hi, my understanding is that the console and PC versions are not ports of one another.  That said, it would still be up to the dev to announce exactly when they'll be updated.  It's also not 100% clear if the developer is planning to release the update on all of the different consoles together or separately when each is ready, but if it's together, I suspect that the console and PC versions of the game would likely be updated on the same day.

I did observe on Twitter that Mega Crit responded to one user on Twitter mentioning that there's not currently an official date announced for the console updates.  I'm not too familiar with the certification process, but I believe that some of the potential tasks involved are such that the amount of time it takes to work on them is highly variable, particularly for a smaller developer, so it makes sense that a firm date of completion would be difficult to estimate.

Mega Crit released Version 2.0 of Slay the Spire for PC on 1/14/2020

We are Game Pass subscribers using the Xbox(Beta) app on our PC's to play the game.  When we launch Slay the Spire we get version 1.1 from 07/05/2019

Does anyone know if Microsoft has the rights to the most current version of the games they offer on Game Pass? Or are they limited to the games as they are when the deal was made?

The issue is rearing it's head right now because this update includes a new playable character.  Do we know if any games on Xbox(Beta) have been updated since they were first provided?

I've saw multiples times (and right now in fact :) ) updates for Age Of Empires, Dead Cells or SuperHot, so , yes, you can expect updates :) but fully depends on developper. 

By the past, i've asked for updates for example on Twitter those who make "Felix The Reaper" cause the end game is glitched and can't be completed (both console and PC, i'm no lucky :( ). Answers from them ? Yes. 2 times: No update in sight..........ok, thanks.... 

So, try to contact the dev on social network and ask them for, i think it's the best way you have.
