Help! My seagate external drive stopped working. I purchased a new cable thinking that may be the issue, and it didn't fix the problem. I still have no power to the drive, cant access any of my games on it and it doesn't light up. What next?

Have you looked at the support page for your Seagate external drive yet? Hopefully they would have the information you are looking for since they are the manufacturer of the product.

- If the drive is not being detected, try a different port on the Xbox.
- If the drive is plugged into a USB hub try removing from the hub and plugging it directly into the XBox.
- If the drive is still having issues take it to a Windows machine and run Seatools for Windows on the drive.

Correct.
In the meantime, any digital purchases can still be accessed from the Ready to install section of my games and apps, but would require.you to install on internal drive until a solution is found with external issue
If I didn't, sorry, but at least I'm trying 😀

How long have you had it,you might still be able to send it back under warranty.I recommend Avolution Pro 2TB.They work awesome.

take it back an get another one. If you can afford a good external SSD drive buy one. They have no moving parts like most Hard drives.

If the stoage is old it might be done for you can always pick up something for a computer and use it for the xbox storage to save money

Sadly it may have given up the ghost. On the plus side you havent lost any crucial data. Everything (including your saves) can be downloaded again.
