Saints Row 2

So I recently popped in SR2. I got an update and tried to play some online co-op with my friend in the UK. We have played together months back and both have all of the DLC.

Every time we try to join each others games, we get disconnected. I started a multiplayer match and we were both able to do that fine, so I don't think it has anything to do with our connections. We both can play co-op on every other game we have, this is the only one that NOW has a problem.

Any ideas how to fix this?

If you were having issues outside of this game, I'd suggest you both confirm your NATs are currently set to open. However, if this is ONLY occurring with SR2, I recommend taking a look at their official site/forums, to see if there's any info on this particular issue.
